Travel Disruptions and Diversions - 2019

This year a series of road improvements and updates are being carried out across the city, which will mean that road access to the college may be subject to some short diversions. Currently, the footpath outside of Plymouth College of Art is open and available to all pedestrians. The footpath on the opposite side of the road will be closed for a period of 10 weeks, due to re-open from 22 July 2019, with access for bus stops only. Please use the diversions routes provided, and do not take alternative and potentially unsafe routes.

Click here to find out more about the planned works, and the current roadworks taking place across Plymouth.

Plymouth is the gateway to the South West. Known as Britain's Ocean City, we are served by a main Great Western Railway link from London Paddington and by Cross Country Trains north to the Midlands and Scotland. There are frequent services from Newton Abbot, Torbay, North Cornwall and North Devon.
