Tabitha’s work is a contemporary enquiry into feminine archetypes and symbolism in mythology and religion. Tabitha uses ceramic, glass and fabric in her work. The woven elements refer to the Moirai of greek mythology: Clotho the spinner, Lachesis the weaver and Atropos the cutter. This feared, female triad recurs in mythologies and stories. They determine the fate of humans by spinning, weaving and cutting the thread of life.
