Lanky, Lankier, Lankiest
My collection is inspired by the awkwardness of being a tall person. I find as a tall person, I do not get to look up at someone very often or get to view myself from other people’s perspective. Standing under a tall building changes how the buildings silhouette appears. I began experimenting with fish-eye lens photography, understanding how an object’s shape can change when viewed from different perspectives.
I have combined my skills in engineering with my understanding of garment construction to create architectural forms out of delicate fabrics, producing a collection that is both structured and soft.
