My final major project is a creative book exploring modern and alternative masculine aesthetics and cultures. I aim to utilise this outcome as part of my personal portfolio, aiding my ambition of becoming a menswear stylist and art director. My biggest inspiration has been modern masculinity and its many different factions drawing from its varied aesthetics and diverse nature. From this, I have creatively directed and styled several editorials, all with unique concepts addressing millennial masculinity. Alongside creating my own content, I have collaborated with fellow students and emerging creatives from a range of practices to gain different perspectives and outlooks on the matter.
My creative vision sets my work out amongst the rest as I am not afraid to challenge social boundaries and work against the mainstream. I possess a unique aesthetic and approach to styling that blurs the lines of gender and aims to redefine traditional masculine and menswear ideals.
