CAT JEFFERIES

Geezer Chic by BLOKE.

I would describe my aesthetic as masculine with sports and military feels. I like to work with tones of colour and one or two accent bright colours. I like to stick with sharp, square and long proportions that elongate the body. I have always had quite an oversized aesthetic throughout my work.

For my final major project, I have based my collection on British Lad Culture and the essence that men revert back to their youth to escape daily pressures, therefore they wear clothes that reminds them of their teenage years.

I am a massive fan of the Nu Lad trend, and have taken inspiration through my concept of what makes a ‘Nu Lad’ and what they stand for in society.
