Bev Jessop collaborated with Dartmoor Zoo, facilitating a Community Sculpture project that explored how native amphibians are being affected by habitat loss. Participants experimented with materials discarded on site to communicate how threats of urban development, increased agricultural intensification and pollution are impacting on native amphibians. The completed Sculpture will be permanently sited at Dartmoor Zoo. Bev co-operated with Steps (Livewell, Southwest) and Cornwall College. As well as highlighting environmental issues the project also provided positive creative sessions developing skills thereby contributing to the Community Therapy Services STEPS deliver towards Mental Health Recovery.
