Attitudes towards arthropods is a piece created to promote a more positive view of bugs that are often feared or overlooked such as cockroaches, often associated with filth and disease are in fact an important part of the food chain. Not only are they scavengers eating and disposing of waste material and carcases that may be carrying disease but they are also an important source of food for many birds, reptiles and small mammals.

There is so much beauty to be found in the diversity of life on our planet, sometimes it can be hard to see when a creature appears so small and insignificant. Attitudes towards arthropods allows a unique view of these creatures from a safe distance, using a lot of layered macro footage the audience is bombarded with imagery of something that often times goes unnoticed or avoided completely.
